Spectrum Thermal Processing hardens all types of tool steels including high strength steels (Ph Steel) and 400 series stainless steels. We anneal and stress relieve all types of austenitic stainless steels. We carburize and nitride steels such as 8620 and 9310. Spectrum Thermal Processing can solution anneal and age Inconel steels. Additionally, Spectrum Thermal Processing can age all types of BeCu and anneal or stress relieve various brasses and copper materials.

Spectrum Thermal Processing can improve the surface performance of steel components by gas Nitriding or Low Pressure Vacuum Carburizing. Spectrum Thermal Processing can also ferritic nitrocarburize. We have invested considerable resources in developing these processes and are intimately familiar with how to manipulate the processing parameters to achieve your quality requirements. Spectrum Thermal Processing has the expertise to nitride difficult steels such as stainless steels utilizing a proprietary chemical activation process. Our patented method of Low Pressure Vacuum Carburizing produces components with significantly improved case depth uniformity and mechanical properties as compared to those processed using conventional atmosphere carburizing techniques.
